THIS RACE IS A FUNDRAISER TO KEEP THE LAUREL MILL SKI TRAILS OPEN AND ADD MORE TRAILS.
FOR SAFETY REASONS NO DOGS PERMITTED ON THE COURSE.
THE ROUTE IS THE SAME AS LAST YEAR. IT IS A LITTLE SHORTER WITH THE RE-ROUTE UP THE HILL.
Join us for a spooky fun time on the Laurel Mill Ski trail in beautiful Ridgway PA and run a 6K or 12K trail race or take on the 2 mile spooky walk.This chip timed race is a great course for beginners and new to trail racing runners yet will challenge experienced trail runners that want to push the pace. The course is a 6K loop with approximately 425 feet of elevation gained with the 12K running 2 loops. This rolling forest trail offers a surface covered in grass, ferns, rocks,dirt, and mud. Nothing too technical. Registration will include a tech race shirt, (MUST BE REGISTERED BY 10/10 TO GUARANTEE A SHIRT) Finisher award for all finishers, a door prize drawing and food after the race. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN DOOR PRIZES. Awards for 1st overall male and female for each distance. THE WALK IS NON COMPETITIVE. All registered kids 12 and under will receive a free treat bag. COSTUMES ENCOURAGED! PARKING IS LIMITED SO PLEASE CARPOOL. ONE AID STATION FOR THE 12K. WOMEN'S SHIRT SIZES AVAILABLE.
