Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun, fitness, and family bonding at the Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon, happening on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Round Rock ISD Aquatic Center in Williamson County! This exciting event invites participants of all ages and abilities to join in a variety of race distances designed to cater to young athletes, families, and adaptive participants. Whether you're swimming, biking, or running, everyone is encouraged to "Try a Tri" and embrace the spirit of community while supporting Colin's Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to water-safety education and drowning prevention.

The triathlon features multiple race categories, including youth events for ages 7 to 15, with distances ranging from a 50-yard swim to a 2-mile bike ride and a 1K run. High school athletes (ages 16-17) can also showcase their skills in a supportive environment. Families and friends are invited to participate together in the Family Tri/Relay, making it an unforgettable experience for all. Additionally, there are specialized adaptive events, ensuring that everyone can take part in this uplifting occasion. Join us for a day of camaraderie, challenge, and making a difference as we work together to keep children safer around water

The Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon is more than a multisport raceit is a fun-filled opportunity for kids, families, friends and Adaptive to swim, bike, run, and support an incredible cause!

Every registration and donation helps support Colins Hope and its mission to provide water-safety education and prevent childhood drowning. You do not have to be an experienced triathlete to participatejust come ready to have fun, challenge yourself, and make a difference.

So gather your family and friends, sign up, and Try a Tri for fun while supporting Colins Hope. Together, we can help keep children safer around water!

EVENT(S) DESCRIPTION

ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH: Young athletes can swim, bike, and run on age-appropriate courses designed to provide a fun, safe, and encouraging race experience. Whether this is your child's first triathlon or they are an experienced youth athlete, all ability levels are welcome.

HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: This wave welcomes older youth athletes who want to experience the sport of triathlon in a supportive and family-friendly environment.

FAMILIES AND FRIENDS: Our Family and Friends wave is a recreational event for participants who want to experience a triathlon alongside a family member or friend, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. It is a great opportunity to "Try a Tri" together!

SPLASH AND DASH: We also have Splash and Dash events designed for ages 7-17. Participants will enjoy swimming and running activities in a fun, active environment.
