The race kicks off at 9:00 AM, with registration opening at 7:30 AM. Early packet pick-up is available the day before, ensuring a smooth experience on race day. With a cap of 800 registrants, be sure to secure your spot early. In addition to a custom long-sleeved shirt and medal, there are exciting fundraising incentives, including refunds on your entry fee and chances to win gift certificates for top fundraisers. Don’t forget to don your best Thanksgiving-themed costume for a fun twist! Whether you're running or walking, come out for a great cause and make unforgettable memories with family and friends!

The scenic race course loops Hinckley Lake within the Hinckley Reservation.
START/FINISH AND PARKING CHANGES (READ CAREFULLY)
Because of park construction, we're moving the Start/Finish area to the South Ball Field parking lot. We will run the course on the paved path around the lake as usual (CCW). Parking will be limited so we're capping registration at 800 at this point and giving discount tickets for next year's race for people that park at the most distant lots. Think of it as a reward for running/walking a little extra. We also highly encourage carpooling and arriving early. We'll provide detailed parking instructions as we get closer.
In addition to views of the local flora and fauna, you might see participants in their best Thanksgiving-themed costumes. (Turkey and cranberry suits are welcome!)
Early packet pick up will be 11/27 from 3P-6P at 2425 Medina Rd, Medina. Please do your best to pick everything on 11/27 to avoid delays on race day. You are encouraged to pick-up for friends and family.

In addition to pre-burning Thanksgiving calories, the Burner benefits Running2bwell [http://www.running2bwell.org] and its free wellness programs for people struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

You can walk either the full 5K or turn around to make it a 1-mile walk, depending on how much pie you're planning to eat later. -
