In honor of the YMCA's 175th anniversary, the Turkey Chase is also launching the "175 FOR 175 CHALLENGE," encouraging participants to raise $175 each to help change a child's future. Every dollar goes towards vital YMCA programs that provide safe after-school spaces, caring mentors, and health opportunities for families in need. HISTORY OF THE TURKEY CHASE
The Turkey Chase Charity Run originated in 1982 in partnership with the YMCA Bethesda Chevy Chase and Bethesda Chevy Chase Rotary. This years Turkey Chase Charity Run will benefit more youth and families in the metropolitan area. The Ys Turkey Chase is one of the largest 10K's in the metropolitan area and the largest fundraiser for the YMCA and Rotary.
