Join us for the 2nd Annual Turkey TrOT, a community-driven event dedicated to raising funds in support of occupational therapy research. Whether youre a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or walking with friends and family, this 5K offers an inclusive and inspiring way to get moving for a great cause.
The course will take participants through a scenic, family-friendly route, with water stations and cheering sections along the way. After crossing the finish line, stick around to enjoy a vibrant vendor fair featuring local businesses, health and wellness resources, and sponsor booths offering giveaways, refreshments, and activities.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit the St. Catherines Challenge, a nationwide initiative supporting the future of occupational therapy by funding innovative research, advancing evidence-based practice, and empowering the next generation of therapists.
Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps strengthen the impact of occupational therapy across communities.
REGISTRATION PRICING:
* Early Bird - $20/25
* Ends on October 19th at 11:59 pm
* Includes a guaranteed shirt
* General Admission - $25/30
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
* This event is untimed - it is a fundraising fun run!
* All registrations must be done online before race day.
* Only early bird registrations are guaranteed a race T-shirt.
* Snacks, water, and sports drinks will be provided.
* Local vendors will be at this event.
T-SHIRT PICK-UP:
* T-shirt pick-up will begin on the DAY OF the race, starting at 7:30 am.
MORNING OF DETAILS:

* Please arrive by 8:00am to allow plenty of time for parking and warming up.
* 8:45am start time for both the 1.5 mile and 5k.
* Wed love for you to wear your Turkey TrOT t-shirt!!
* Bathrooms will be available in Hubbard Hall, near the start line.
* Event Parking: Because the event is on the weekend, participants and their families are able to park on TWUs campus for free, without a permit. We would recommend parking in the Lowry Parking Lot or the Multipurpose Classroom Library Lot.
* After your run, please join us in exploring our local vendor fair, playing yard games, and enjoying some complimentary treats from our amazing sponsors!

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) is an organization that supports occupational therapy research and increases awareness about the important relationship between health and everyday activities (occupations).
