The day includes a timed 5K race with awards for the top overall male and female finishers, along with age group prizes in 15 categories. Not a competitor? Join the fun by participating in the 1 Mile Sweater Stroll, which is not timed and perfect for all ages. Be sure to stop by the photo booth for some festive snapshots and enjoy hot chocolate and holiday treats at the finish line. Check-in and packet pickup will be available on Friday, December 5, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, and again on race day from 7:00 - 8:15 am at NIBCO Water and Ice Park. Embrace the spirit

Organiser's Description
The Elkhart Education Foundation is excited to host the annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll Presented by NIBCO. This is a fun-filled event for every person: the serious runner, the recreational jogger, walkers, and our furry friends.
Prior to the race, take some fun pics at the photo booth! Wear your tackiest sweater and you may win the Ugliest Sweater Contest (contest starts before the race). Finisher awards for all! Prizes will be awarded for the top Overall Male/Female as well as Age Group winners in each of 15 age divisions! Note: The Stroll is not timed, so there are no placement awards for that event.
At the finish line, enjoy hot chocolate and holiday treats!
Check-in and packet pickup / Onsite Registration begins on Friday, December 5 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Elkhart Health & Aquatics in the Community Meeting Rooms and Saturday, December 6 at NIBCO Water and Ice Park from 7:00 - 8:15 am.
We encourage people to pickup the day before if at all possible to streamline the morning.
