STUDENTS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN A _COLOR RUN_ AT NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL ON MARCH 22ND. A COLOR RUN IS AN UNTIMED FUN RUN EVENT WHERE PARTICIPANTS ARE SHOWERED WITH COLORED POWDER AT VARIOUS POINTS AS THEY RUN OR WALK AROUND THE TRACK.
THE GOAL OF THIS EVENT IS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF ERNIE DAVIS, TO RECOGNIZE THE EXCEPTIONAL CHARACTER QUALITIES WITH WHICH HE LED HIS LIFE, AND TO UNITE AGAINST RACIAL DISCRIMINATION.
