LET YOUR FEET TAKE FLIGHT ON THE GREENVILLE DOWNTOWN AIRPORT RUNWAY FOR ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE RUNNING EXPERIENCES AND FLATTEST 5K RACES AROUND.
JOIN US ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT THE GREENVILLE DOWNTOWN AIRPORT FOR THE 13TH ANNUAL TAKE FLIGHT 5K ON SATURDAY, MAY 23TH, 2026. COSTUMES AND COMPETITION ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. FUN IS MANDATORY! OFFICIAL GROUPS WILL BE PUBLICLY RECOGNIZED SO LET US KNOW.
PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN OUT BETWEEN RACES.
STROLLERS AND WALKERS ARE ALLOWED. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS RACE.
WE WILL TAKE A MOMENT TO HONOR OUR FALLEN VETERANS WITH A SMALL CEREMONY PRIOR TO THE RACE. THE CIVIL AIR PATROL WILL CONDUCT THE MISSING COMRADE CEREMONY. WE ARE WORKING THE OTHER CEREMONY PARTICIPANTS.
