Get ready for an exhilarating day of running and community spirit at the 6th Annual UTAH CRITS Running Events, hosted by Maple & Cheese on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in beautiful Sandy, Salt Lake. This year's event features the much-anticipated Salt City Mile and introduces the inaugural Maple & Cheese Circuit 5k, both held on a closed course that guarantees a vibrant and energetic atmosphere for all participants.
Starting at 8 AM with the Maple & Cheese Circuit 5k, runners of all ages can enjoy a fantastic race day experience. The Salt City Mile will follow at 10:55 AM, along with an exciting lineup of amateur crit races throughout the day. Families are encouraged to join, with special discounts for kids aged 14 and under, making it just $5 for the Salt City Mile and $10 for the 5k! Don’t miss out on the fun with a beer garden, live music, and more crit racing from 11 AM to 4 PM. With professional chip timing and prize money for OPEN and MASTERS categories, this event promises to be a celebration of fitness, fun, and camaraderie. The Salt Lake City Track Club & the UTAH CRITS are thrilled to announce our 6th annual Salt City Mile & to introduce the inaugural Maple & Cheese Circuit 5k.
Both races will take place on the Utah Crits' closed course - creating such a fun atmosphere for runners!
Schedule:
* 7-10 Bib pick-up for both the Maple & Cheese Circuit 5k & the Salt City Mile
* 8 Maple & Cheese Circuit 5k
* 10am: Amatuer Women Crit Race
* 10:55am Salt City Mile
* 11am-4pm: Beer garden opens, live music, MORE Crit Racing!

UTAH CRITS is thrilled to introduce the inaugural Maple & Cheese Circuit 5k, part of an action packed event. As a participant in this race you will complete 4 laps on a closed circuit course. Each lap is 1.25k. Let all your fans know, because this is a CHEER ZONE race where your loved ones can see you run at any point on course. Challenge yourself to achieve a new personal best on a closed-course race. Top 3 female, male, & non-binary finishers in both open & masters (40+) categories will be awarded!
