On Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., we invite you and your family to take part in the Veterans Day 5K Beach Run / 1-Mile Walka meaningful event along the beautiful shoreline of St. Simons Island, honoring those whove served and supporting their journey home.

Returning from military service isnt always easy. Many veterans face significant challenges as they transition back into civilian life, often without the support they need.

Fairways for Freedom, in partnership with SSI VFW Post 4092, is working to change that. Proceeds from this event will directly fund local programs that help combat-injured veterans reconnect, recover, and rebuild their livesusing innovative, holistic approaches, including the healing power of golf.

REGISTRATION:

ALL ENTRIES INCLUDE A T-SHIRT AND A FINISHER MEDAL.

Register by September 1st to secure early bird pricing:

* 5K Race: $30
* 1 Mile Walk: $30
* Children Under 12: $20

Starting September 2, prices increase to:

* 5K Race: $35
* 1 Mile Walk: $35
* Children Under 12: $25

100% of entry fees and donations go directly to Fairways for Freedom to support local combat-injured veterans.

T-shirt Guarantee: Register by October 8th, 2025, to ensure your event T-shirt.

Final Registration Deadline: Saturday, November 8th at 7:45 a.m. no exceptions.

* 7:00 am Race Day - Registration Opens Electronic Reg only (no cash)/ Packet Pick Up
* 7:45 am Race Day - Registration Closes. Head to the Starting line
* 8:00 am Event Start Time
* 9:15 am Awards to be announced, so stick around! No age group awards.

PRE-REGISTRATION PACKET PICK UP:

* Monday, November 3, through Friday, November 7, Georgia Game Changers Running Company, 262 Redfern Village, SSI, GA, during business hours
* Day of Run - 7:00 am - 7:45 am, Run location - registration table.
