The event also features a non-timed Kids 1K for children 12 and under, starting at 9:00 AM. This annual event is hosted by Newcomb Academy PTSA, which serves Newcomb Academy (Grades K8), a public school in the Long Beach Unified School District.
A school fundraiser and a way to promote health and fitness to the entire area. This family-friendly event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Stroller and wheelchair friendly.
Medals will be given to all finishers with awards for the top three 5K finishers in each age group. FREE shirt and goody bag guaranteed if registered by January 7th, 2026 at 11:59 pm, after that date your shirt may not be available.
