Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the Waco ISD Superintendent's SuperHero Run on Saturday, August 1, 2026! This exciting event features both a 5K and a 1 Mile race, perfect for participants of all ages and abilities. Set against the vibrant backdrop of the Waco High School campus, the course is designed to be safe and enjoyable for everyone, including strollers, wagons, and well-behaved pets on a leash.
The 5K race kicks off at 7:00 AM, followed by the 1 Mile run at 7:10 AM, both starting and finishing on the Waco High School track at Paul Tyson Field. Don’t forget to channel your inner superhero by dressing up as your favorite character—capes are highly encouraged! Join us for a day filled with community spirit, exercise, and lots of superhero fun!

Organiser's Description
This SUPER fun, SUPER hero themed 5K and 1 mile will be a SUPER good time for all ages! The course is completely contained in the Waco High School campus making it very safe for all ages and abilities. Strollers, wagons, and well-behaved animals on leash are welcome!
The 5K and 1 mile will start and finish on the Waco High School track at Paul Tyson Field!
The 5K will start at 7:00am. The 1 mile will start at 7:10am.
