A fun and powerful event that brings our community together to standand now runwith survivors, sending a clear message that they are seen, believed, and never have to stand alone. This event raises both awareness and critical funds for Sexual Assault Services, a local nonprofit providing free and confidential support to individuals impacted by sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and all forms of sexual violence.

WE ARE EXCITED TO CONTINUE FOR THE 2ND YEAR A TIMED 5K RUN THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL TRAILS OF THE NORTHLAND ARBORETUM. THE 5K IS A SEPARATE EVENT, CREATED IN RESPONSE TO YEARS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST IN HAVING A PROFESSIONALLY TIMED RUN. THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE 5K HELPS COVER THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH TIMING AND EVENT LOGISTICS, ENSURING A QUALITY EXPERIENCE FOR PARTICIPANTS WHILE STILL SUPPORTING OUR MISSION.

Following the 5K, participants and community members are invited to take part in our signature Walk-A-Mile-In-Her-Shoes event at 11:30 a.m. This walk is a bonus event after the run and offers a meaningful opportunity for men, women, and children to step into the shoes of survivorsliterally. Well have a variety of high heels available for those who want to participate in this powerful and eye-opening experience.

Participants are welcome to join one or both events, making it a flexible and inclusive day for everyone. In addition, attendees can enjoy a silent auction and other family-friendly activities.
