Organiser's Description
A fun and powerful event that unites community to stand (run, walk) with survivors and send a clear message that they are seen, believed, and never have to stand alone. This event is to raise awareness and funds for Sexual Assault Services a local non-profit organization that provides free and confidential services to survivors of sexual assault, child sexual abuse and all forms of sexual violence.
We will start the morning with a 5K run through the beautiful trails of the Northern Arboretum. After the run, all are welcome to participate in the Walk-A-Mile-In-Her-Shoes which will take place at 10:30 a.m. This walk is for men, women, and children. We have many high heels in several sizes for men to walk in! There will also be a silent auction!!!
