Whether youβre walking in honor of a loved one, celebrating your own recovery, or simply showing your support, your participation is invaluable. Donβt forget to register by September 1st to guarantee your commemorative t-shirt, although you can still register and donate afterward. A suggested donation of $5 or more not only helps secure your t-shirt but also directly supports the Addiction Recovery Team's efforts in promoting community prevention and recovery initiatives. Organiser's Description
In partnership with the Weymouth Prevention Alliance and Old South Union Church (OSU), the Addiction Recovery Team is hosting the 9th annual Walk for Hope and Recovery on September 19, 2026. This event, open to all, is a way to unify and strengthen our community. The 1.4 mile walk will begin and end at OSU. Music, food, and resources will be provided after the walk. Please join us as we walk to stomp out the stigma of addiction and celebrate recovery one step at a time.
To be guaranteed a t-shirt you must register by September 1st, to allow time for t-shirt production. However, after Sept. 1st, though we won't be taking any more orders for t-shirts, you will still be able to register and donate. A limited supply of t-shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the walk.

Suggested donation of $5, $10, $15, $20, other (donations of $5 or more will get a t-shirt).
Donation is not required for participation.
100% of your donations will help the Addiction Recovery Team's work to make this walk an annual event and support community efforts in prevention and recovery from addiction. Thank you for your support!
