Event summary
Since its inception in 1990, Walk for Rice has transformed from a small gathering of 45 walkers into a major community event, attracting hundreds of participants. Over the years, it has successfully raised more than $4 million to combat food insecurity, distributing nearly one million pounds of culturally relevant food, including rice, tofu, and fresh produce, to approximately 5,000 families across King County. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in the fight against hunger while enjoying a day of community spirit and celebration. Come walk with us and help ensure that everyone has access to the foods that feel like home!
