As part of April's National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month, this 1,500-mile trek across Florida aims to shine a light on the fight against child sexual abuse and support survivors on their healing journey.
Participants have the option to stop at Millennium Beach Park or continue on the full 10-mile route to Fish Bellies Food Truck, making it a fantastic opportunity for camaraderie and community engagement. Plus, an UBER code will be provided to ensure a convenient return to the starting point. Join thousands of walkers in making a difference and taking steps towards a brighter future!

Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

We'll start registration at the Satellite Beach Church of Christ at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, April 16th, and begin to walk at 9:00 AM. Our first walk section is 5 miles, and we'll take a short water break at Millennium Beach Park. Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to Fish Bellies Food Truck (1240 N Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903) - another 3 miles - where we'll end and celebrate. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Ride Share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration.
