Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2026 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Join us for a 3-mile walk to Publix Super Market at Key Plaza Shopping Center (1112 Key Plaza, Key West, FL 33040) with the opportunity to stop or continue walking our full 15-mile route to Babys Coffee (3180 US-1 MM 15, Key West, FL 33040).
An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back from the walk.

We'll start registration at the Duval Street Pocket Park (Temporary Southernmost Point of the United States) at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, March 31st, and begin to walk at 8:30 AM. Our first walk section is 3 miles, and we'll take a short water break at the Publix Super Market at Key Plaza Shopping Center. Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to Baby's Coffee (3180 US-1 MM 15, Key West, FL 33040) - another 12 miles - where we'll have our final celebration! All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Free ride share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. Please make sure to have the Uber app downloaded to your phone prior to your arrival.
