Get ready for the Wander Project Adventure, a unique and inspiring event taking place in Salt Lake City, Utah, from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025! This exciting initiative invites participants to embark on their own self-directed adventures, whether it's a Fastest Known Time (FKT) attempt, a charity walk, or another thrilling race of your choice. The beauty of this event lies in its flexibility – you can choose your adventure and select a charity close to your heart, all while contributing to causes that matter.
Participants are encouraged to set personal goals and timelines for their adventures, making every experience truly unique. During registration, you will have the opportunity to create a personalized fundraising page, receiving support and resources from the Wander Project team every step of the way. After completing your adventure, a portion of the funds raised through charity bibs will be donated to your chosen organization, with the remainder helping to support the communities you explore. Join the Wander Project Adventure and be part of a movement that harnesses the power of community, adventure, and philanthropy!

FKT ATTEMPT, YOUR CHOICE RACE, CHARITY WALK, AND MORE
Wander Project's goal is to harness the power of community to raise awareness for causes that matter to you. We primarily partner with trail races around the U.S. to offer a charity bib program: https://www.wanderproject.org/charity-bibs/. [https://www.wanderproject.org/charity-bibs/] As we've become more engrained in the ultra-running community we have heard requests to help with fundraising for self-directed adventures such as FKT's and multi-day walks.
HOW IT WORKS: PICK YOUR ADVENTURE, PICK YOUR CHARITY, GO!
1) Set a clear goal and timeline for your adventure.
2) Pick your charity - must be one of our approved partners.
We are still in the beta phase of this project so please be in touch with [email protected] to discuss your idea if you are interested.
FUNDRAISING SUPPORT
During registration, you will be automatically prompted to create a fundraising page...you can even create your personal URL for your fundraiser! Our team will provide you will fundraising resources and is here to support you through the entire journey!
After you complete your adventure, we donate a percentage of the charity bib funds to the organization of your choice and the rest goes towards supporting the communities we run in! Your Choice Race

Athletes who register for a Your Choice race will need to purchase the race entry for that specific event separately from this registration. This is solely a for creating a fundraising page and receiving the support of Wander Project as you raise funds for one of our nonprofit partners. After registering for a Your Choice race and selecting the nonprofit organization that inspires you to fundraise, we will provide you with resources to support you in reaching your fundraising goal.
