Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run

Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving festivities with the Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, in beautiful Kansas City, Jackson! This exciting event features a variety of race distances to suit everyone, including a 5k and 10k, as well as an untimed Tiny Turkey Trot for kids 12 and under. New this year, participants can also test their speed in the thrilling Downhill Mile, where we’ll discover who the fastest miler in the Midwest is!

All runners will be rewarded with a stylish long sleeve thermal shirt and a delightful pie as a finisher’s treat. Plus, you’ll receive a unique finisher medal, and don’t forget, free photos will capture your memorable moments! For those who want the classic keepsake, a traditional metal finisher medal can be purchased during registration.
