This much-anticipated event invites runners of all skill levels to tackle scenic trails through the stunning Honor Heights Park. Participants can choose from three exhilarating race distances: the 5K, 10K, and the popular 15K, which made a triumphant return due to overwhelming demand.
Runners can look forward to a refreshing experience as they navigate the course, complete with cooling water fountains and sprays to beat the summer heat. Registration opens at 6:30 AM, with races kicking off at 7:30 AM for the 15K and 8:00 AM for the 5K and 10K. ABOUT WATERLOOP: IN 2024, WE EXPANDED UPON THE TRADITIONAL 5K AND 10K TRAIL RUNS, WITH A 15K IN HONOR OF THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY. THE 15K WAS POPULAR AMONG RUNNERS, SO WE ARE ADDING THAT BACK THIS YEAR AND ANOTHER POPULAR CHANGED WE ADDED LAST YEAR: MORNING START TIMES!
WATERLOOP PROVIDES A CHALLENGING, SCENIC, AND FUN COURSE THAT LOOPS RUNNERS ALL THROUGH HONOR HEIGHTS PARK. RUNNERS WILL ALSO GET COOLED OFF BY WATER FOUNTAINS, HOSES, AND SPRAYS; HENCE THE NAME "WATERLOOP."
