This uplifting event aims to raise awareness and funds for the Marion County Children’s Alliance Family Violence Prevention Workgroup, providing essential resources and support for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
Starting at 8:00 AM, participants will have the opportunity to walk or run a distance of 3.1 miles, making this family-friendly event suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Onsite packet pickup begins bright and early at 6:30 AM, ensuring everyone is ready to hit the ground running! The first 150 registrants will receive an official race shirt, and all finishers will earn a unique medal, with awards for the top three finishers in each age group and overall male and female categories. Come together with your community to support a vital cause and enjoy a post-race celebration filled with refreshments and fun! Come join Marion County Children's Alliance Family Violence Prevention Work group (FVPW) as they are hosting its annual Wear Your Wings 5K Fun Run/Walk to raise awareness and funds to provide resources, services and temporary shelter for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
