The schedule kicks off at 12:15 PM with the Grades K/1st/2nd Girls race covering 1 mile, followed by the Boys of the same grades. As the day progresses, students in grades 3rd through 8th will participate in races ranging from 1 mile to 3 kilometers, ensuring a thrilling experience for everyone involved. Family and friends are encouraged to cheer from various vantage points along the course, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with encouragement and excitement. Plus, all participants will receive a coupon for a free Icee Pop, and the top 10 finishers in each race will earn medals to commemorate their achievements. Arrival Please find the check in table when you arrive to pay your entry fee, and get your bib and shirt. Family members are welcome and encouraged to watch from several different locations off the course.
Weather In case of inclement weather, please check the Statesmen Sports website, Instagram (@coachpetter) or Twitter (@wghsxc) after 7a.m. on October 10th to confirm event status.
Parking Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling with other families.
Athletic Trainer An athletic trainer will be present in case of an injury. If needed, you can indicate any health concerns (ex. Allergies, asthma) to your childs gym teacher or the trainer on site so they can be aware
