Event summary
The race schedule kicks off at 12:15 PM with the Grades K/1st/2nd Girls running a 1-mile course, followed by the Boys at 12:30 PM. Students in Grades 3rd and 4th will tackle 1.5 miles at 12:45 PM and 1:05 PM, while Grades 5th and 6th will also face the same distance at 1:25 PM and 1:45 PM. The day wraps up with the 7th and 8th graders competing in a 3K (1.89 miles) at 2:05 PM for the girls and 2:30 PM for the boys. Parents and family members are encouraged to cheer on the participants from various vantage points along the course, and everyone will have the chance to enjoy snacks and drinks

EVENT DETAILS
Arrival Please find the check in table when you arrive to pay your entry fee, and get your bib and shirt. Family members are welcome and encouraged to watch from several different locations off the course.
Weather In case of inclement weather, please check the Statesmen Sports website, Instagram (@coachpetter) or Twitter (@wghsxc) after 7a.m. on October 7th to confirm event status.
Parking Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling with other families.
Athletic Trainer An athletic trainer will be present in case of an injury. If needed, you can indicate any health concerns (ex. Allergies, asthma) to your childs gym teacher or the trainer on site so they can be aware
Concessions - snacks & drinks will be available for sale / **each athlete will receive a coupon for free Icee Pop!
