Join us for the 9th Annual Wendell Hercules Running with the Angels 5K, taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the charming community of Henrietta, Monroe. This uplifting event honors the legacy of Wendell Hercules, a beloved figure in the church and local running scene. The race features a friendly, flat 5K route that winds through the peaceful neighborhoods surrounding St. Peters, making it perfect for runners of all levels.
Starting at 1:00 PM, participants can enjoy a unique early afternoon race experience, followed by a fantastic selection of food including BBQ chicken, pizza, and homemade soups. Registration is affordable at $25 for pre-registration and packet pickup, or $30 on race day. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners, with medals for the top three finishers in five-year age increments. Organiser's Description
This is the 9th year of the St. Peters Running with the Angels race. In early 2017, we lost the race founder, Wendell Hercules, a staple member of the church, the community, and the Rochester running scene in recent years. In his honor, the race was renamed with his namesake.
The 5k route is a friendly, flat road course through the quiet neighborhood around St. Peters.
Runners praise the great selection of food combined with the unique early afternoon race start.
This includes BBQ chicken, pizza, homemade soups, and much more.
Join us for great food, great people, and most importantly, to honor Wendell.
