THIS EVENT, IN MEMORY OF GREGG WENZEL 91, WILL CONSIST OF A 5K RUN/WALK AROUND CAMPUS. THE 5K IS OPEN TO ALL. WENZEL WAS A TRIATHLETE AND FORMER STUDENT-ATHLETE AT BINGHAMTON WHO COMPETED ON THE MENS VARSITY SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAM. HE WAS KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN JULY 2003 IN ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA, WHERE HE WAS WORKING AS A CIA DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS. RACE CHECK-IN AND ON-SITE REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE EAST GYM. THE RUN/WALK WILL START AND END AT THE EAST GYM ON RECREATION DRIVE.
