Join us for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Weslaco Band Boosters' Sweetheart Strut, taking place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Harlon Block Sports Complex in Weslaco, Hidalgo. This vibrant event features a 5K race starting at 7:30 a.m. and a 1-mile Fun Run kicking off at 8:00 a.m. Participants can register for the 5K for just $25 (with a price increase to $30 after January 1, 2026) or the Fun Run for $15.
All proceeds from the Sweetheart Strut directly support our dedicated band students in two meaningful ways: providing senior scholarships to reward their hard work and assisting with transportation costs for a once-in-a-lifetime performance at the Magic Kingdom Parade in June 2026. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get active, support local talent, and create unforgettable memories with family and friends. Marching Toward Magic Funds will help cover transportation costs for students to perform in the Magic Kingdom Parade in June 2026 a dream performance and an unforgettable educational experience!
