Participants can compete individually or form relay teams, with the option for ages 5-12 to team up with a guardian. Relay teams can consist of up to three athletes, ensuring everyone has a chance to shine within their respective age brackets. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and a celebration of youth fitness!

THE WEST CABARRUS YMCA KIDS TRI RACE IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF AND STAY ACTIVE! THE EVENT IS OPEN TO YOUTH AGED 5-16, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. ALL PARTICIPANTS CAN COMPETE AS INDIVIDUALS OR AS A RELAY TEAM. TEAMS THAT HAVE AGES 5-12 CAN COMPETE WITH GUARDIANS. RELAY TEAMS NOT TO EXCEED 3 ATHLETES. RELAY TEAMS SHOULD BE COMPRISED OF MEMBERS WITHIN THE SAME AGE BRACKET. (I.E. 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, ETC)
