Get ready for an exhilarating day of athleticism at the Whitefish Lake Triathlon on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the stunning town of Whitefish, Montana. This classic sprint triathlon features a picturesque 1/2 mile point-to-point open water swim in the crystal-clear waters of Whitefish Lake, starting and finishing at the scenic Whitefish City Beach.
Participants will then tackle a fast-paced 20K bike ride that includes a beautiful out-and-back route along the lake, complemented by a challenging 4 miles of hills designed to test your endurance and bike handling skills. Rounding off the event, athletes will take on a thrilling 5K run, consisting of two laps that also start and finish at Whitefish City Beach. The Whitefish Lake Sprint Triathlon is an old fashioned triathlon in the heart of Whitefish, Montana.
SWIM: 1/2 mile point-to-point open water swim in beautiful Whitefish Lake. Starts and finishes at Whitefish City Beach.
BIKE: 20K out-and-back traveling along Whitefish Lake. Mostly flat and fast with 4 miles of challenging hills that will test your conditioning and bike handling skills.
RUN: The 5K is a 2-lap run that starts and ends at Whitefish City Beach.
