Organiser's Description
Climate Week 5K & 10K presented by the University of Michigan and City of Ann Arbor
Running toward a sustainable future
-------------------------
Join us in downtown Ann Arbor for the 16TH RUNNING of the Trinity Health Probility Ann Arbor Marathon!
Choose your challenge: marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, Climate Week 10K, Climate Week 5K, or one of our free kids races. Whether you're walking your first 5K or racing your 50th marathon, there's a place for you on the starting line.
The Climate Week 5K and 10K bring runners, walkers, the University of Michigan, and the City of Ann Arbor together around a shared goal: creating a healthier, more sustainable future for our community and our planet.
All distance events start in downtown Ann Arbor. From there, participants experience the vibrant streets of downtown, the University of Michigan campus, and some of Ann Arbor's most beautiful natural areas including the Huron River, Gallup Park, and Nichols Arboretum before returning for a spectacular downtown finish.
The USATF-certified marathon course is a qualifier for both the BOSTON MARATHON and the TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON.
Every Body. Every Pace. Every Race.
If you're coming in from out of town, out of state, or out of the country or even if you live in the Ann Arbor area you'll enjoy discovering Tree Town USA! Ann Arbor features locally owned and operated restaurants and cafes, independent bookstores, theaters, art galleries, and museums (including the University of Michigan Museum of Art), all within reach of the Ann Arbor Marathon.

OPENS 31 JAN 27Plan on taking more than 6 hours to finish? Choose our early start option when you register! Please remember that there is no packet pickup race day morning for the Marathon. You must pickup your packet at the Expo the day before. We will record your start time as 6 a.m. You will need to have a headlamp and any hydration that you will need before 8:00 a.m. when the course officially opens and aid stations are available. Remember that the course will be marked, but there will not be any police or volunteers on the course until 7:30 a.m. so you will need to follow traffic laws and it will be good to be familiar with the course. The course will close promptly at 2 p.m. At that time, if you are still on the course, you will need to move to the sidewalks. You, of course, may finish the race, but the finish area will begin cleaning up. -
