Join us for the exhilarating Ann Arbor Tri, Du, & Aquabike event on Saturday, July 12, 2025, set in the stunning Gregory, Washtenaw area at the scenic Pinckney Recreation Area. This iconic race has been a staple of the community since 1986, allowing athletes to dive into the refreshing open waters of Halfmoon Lake, cruise along the rolling paved roads of the countryside, and conquer the beautiful Potowatomi Trail.

Participants can choose from a variety of exciting race formats, including the challenging Olympic Triathlon featuring a 1500-meter swim, a 28-mile bike ride, and a 5.3-mile trail run, or opt for the Sprint Triathlon with a 750-meter swim, a 14-mile bike ride, and a 3.5-mile run. Thereโ€™s also the Olympic Aquabike, Sprint Duathlon, and team relay options for those who want to share the fun with friends. Post-race festivities will keep the energy high with delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. Come be part of this unforgettable event that celebrates endurance, community, and the great outdoors!

Organiser's Description

Since 1986, the iconic and classic Ann Arbor Tri has been held in the Pinckney Recreation Area at Halfmoon Lake, one of the largest state parks in all of Michigan. Youll swim the open waters of Halfmoon, bike the rolling paved country roads of the surrounding rural area, and then run the Potowatomi Trail. Its a classic course youll come back to again and again.

USAT RULES 3.2b Weight Class Division: Weight Class Division. In events where a weight class division is offered, the minimum weight shall be 220 pounds for men and 165 pounds for women, monitored by the event organizer. The weight class age categories for men and women shall be 39 years of age and under and 40 years of age and over.
