Organiser's Description
The Wicked Wine Run is a 5k and 10k trail run at Montaluce Winery. Enjoy a run through the vineyards, the surrounding forests, and along the scenic Etowah River.
Race day registration begins at 8:30 am and closes 15 minutes prior to the start of each event.
Start times: 10k- 9:30 am; 5k- 9:45 am. All courses will close at noon.
Course is through the Montaluce vineyards, surrounding forests, and along the Etowah River. The terrain at Montaluce is hilly and there are several steep climbs on the course. Course follows some paved roads, dirt tracks, and, on the 10k, two cleared paths through forest.
T-SHIRTS GUARANTEED TO PEOPLE REGISTERED ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25. AFTER OCTOBER 25, T-SHIRTS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE AS SIZES LAST.
Follow the signs when entering Montaluce to the parking area. Staging area is at the Montaluce Swimming Pool.
Remember, the 10k and the 5k are trail runs. Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for trail running. You should expect and anticipate getting your feet wet!
