Each day from Monday through Friday, participants will engage in a variety of enriching activities from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, culminating in a special Saturday session from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Attendees will learn essential warm-up drills, participate in daily runs, and benefit from specialized training segments led by renowned experts like Olympian Lisa Uhl and sports dietician Ellen Davis. Plus, each registrant will receive a fantastic gear package to enhance their running experience. Organiser's Description
We invite student-athletes from 6th grade - 12th grade to experience an immersive camp dedicated to running education and growth hosted by Fitness Sports in Clive, IA! Get prepared for the 2025 Track & Field season with a foundational build and new skills to maximize their abilities and prevent injuries!

WHAT STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE:
- Education on proper warmup drills for running
- 20-30 minute run each day
- Mobility and flexibility, with encouragement from famous XCTF Announcer and founder of Track Guy, Mike Jay (Monday)
- Nutrition planning featuring sports dietician Ellen Davis, who specializes in runner fuel (Tuesday)
- Runner-specific strength training for injury prevention, featuring Isaiah Wittrock, NAIA National Champion in the 1500 & Dowling XCTF Coach (Wednesday)
- Core strength and breathing techniques with (Thursday)
- Running form work and proper gear for maximum efficiency featuring Gait Analyst/Coach Lindsey Andrews, owner of Fitness Sports & former NCAA Div I XC Team Champion (Friday)
- Goal Setting and inspiration featuring 2012 Olympian in the 10,000m, former Iowa State NCAA multi-time Champion and All-American, Lisa Uhl! (Saturday)
All registrants will get a fun gear package with awesome running gear items to use during the upcoming season! Registrants have the option to add a shirt for an additional $10 at checkout.
