Woodland Creek Memorial Day 5K

Welcome or welcome back to Woodland Creeks 3rd Annual Memorial Day 5K! This exciting charity event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels, and promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family. All proceeds will go to River Region Trails. We want to see Pike Road grow to become a thriving, active, outdoor community and what better way to kickstart that than to support this non-profit! We strive to make each race experience better than the last, therefore based upon the survey we put out, will have 5 year age brackets for more chances to win medals. Medals are handmade from the Woodland Creek woods. Register by April 20th to be guaranteed a race t-shirt, thereafter t-shirts will be first come first serve until we run out. Online registration will remain open until 7:45AM on 5/26. Packet pickup is Saturday 10-12am, Sunday 2-4pm, and race day pickup starts at 6am. The course will be well-marked and police presence will be at the entrance outside the Lodge to direct traffic, as well as EMS. The course remains exactly the same as last year. We have partnered with many local businesses for raffle goodies after the event (entry included with registration). A Common Bond beer ticket will be included for each 21+ yr old registrant for a post-race drink. Quickly Boba (cash, Venmo, Paypal) and Pike Road Coffee (cash and credit card) will be present selling drinks and food.

A professional photographer will be shooting the event, there will be a "step and repeat" backdrop for photo ops and a bounce house for the kids. (Thank you, Pike Road Inflatables!)

This is a fantastic opportunity to get some exercise, have fun, and support the local community, so come join us for a memorable day of fitness and fun at the 3rd Annual Woodland Creek Memorial 5K Run/Walk!

Start time: 8am. Start and finish at the Lodge. Cut-off time is one hour. We will begin the awards ceremony at 9am and the raffle to follow.

Distance: 3.1 miles

Cost: $20 until April 20th // $30 until Race Day. Kids 4 & under are FREE

Packet pickup dates & location: Saturday May 24th 10am-12pm & Sunday May 25th 2-4pm and Race Day starting at 6am @ the Lodge: 8800 Lodge Drive, Pike Road, AL 36064

Parking: No parking in the parking lot please! Please park along Crescent Lodge Drive or anywhere in the nearby pods.
