The Wright stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright brothers first flight which happened on December 17, 1903. This fun race starts across the historic College Park Airport, the worlds oldest continuously operated airport!

Looking for new friends to train with? Sign up for our 8K training program [https://runsignup.com/Race/MD/Greenbelt/PGRCFall8kTraining], designed to prepare participants for this race.
OTHER DETAILS:
Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (male, female, and non-binary) and top finisher in their age group.
Registration will closes on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:59 p.m.
Prince George's Running Club members will save $5.00 on their registration fee. If you're not a member, please consider becoming one before registering for the race.
The race premium will be guaranteed to the first 100 registrants.

Date: Saturday, December 6th, 2025 Join the Prince Georges' Running Club (PGRC) for a historic, fun, flat 8K race on Saturday, Dec. 6th in College Park, MD at 9 a.m. A salute to an airport in Prince Georges County, the Wright stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright brothers first flight which happened on December 17, 1903. The historic College Park Airport is celebrating its 120th year as the worlds oldest continuously operated airport! Our club hosts this race every year in the month of December. This is also the graduation race for our 8K fall training program, and one of many running programs our club offers. Location: Herbert Wells Ice Rink (5211 Campus Dr, College Park, MD 20740)
