Join us for the uplifting You Matter 5K event on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Columbus, Muscogee! This exciting race features both a 5K and a 1-mile fun run, starting at 8:00 AM and 7:30 AM respectively, at 12 W 11th St. Participants can enjoy the beautiful course while raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention in honor of National Suicide Prevention Month.
With a registration fee of $25 for the 5K and $20 for the 1-mile run, your participation will not only promote wellness but also support the HOPE Fund at the Pastoral Institute, a vital resource in our community for over 50 years. Awards will be given for top finishers in various categories, and all participants who register by September 11th will receive a commemorative t-shirt. What is H.O.P.E.? This is the Pastoral Institutes budget to support people who are in a tight financial situation that doesn't allow them to prioritize their mental health and put wellness needs first. H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Other People Endure.
