Join us for the exciting Zaragoza Invitational on Friday, October 3, 2025, in the picturesque town of Alamosa! This thrilling cross-country meet will showcase young athletic talent as middle school and high school runners compete in a vibrant atmosphere. Race events kick off with the Middle School Girls at 10:00 am, followed by the Middle School Boys at 10:30 am, and then the High School Girls and Boys each taking on a challenging 5K course at 11:00 am and 11:45 am, respectively.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Cole Park, the course features a mix of asphalt and dirt trails around a serene lake, creating an enjoyable experience for both athletes and spectators. Awards will be presented at 12:15 pm, with plaques for the top two teams and t-shirts for the top 10 individuals, including those from middle school. Schedule:
Middle School Girls: 10:00 am
Middle school Boys: 10:30 am
High School Girls 5K: 11:00 am
High school Boys 5K: 11:45 am
Awards at 12:15pm
Registration: MileSplit
Entry Fee: Middle School $100; High School $200 per team (boys and girls), $100 just a girls team or just a boys team; $15 per individual under 5 athletes.
Shoes: Flats are recommended since running on asphalt as well as dirt.
Packet Pick up: Packets will be available on race day starting @ 8:00 am near the finish line.
The Course: The course will be run around Cole park on asphalt and on the trail system with dirt around the lake.
Awards: Top two teams will receive a plaque. Top 10 individuals will receive a t- shirt (including MS)

6th-10th 2nd team All Conference
TIMING: Professional timing will be provided through
PARKING drop off: Take State Street to First Street
you can drop off right on the course and then be directed to parking for buses.
Team camps will be set up on the baseball field
