The Syttende Mai Classic is a highlight of Stoughton, Wisconsin’s cherished Syttende Mai Festival, celebrating Norwegian Constitution Day and the community’s vibrant heritage. This annual event offers something for everyone, including a Half-Marathon Run and Walk, a 5K Run, and a 2-Mile Lil’ Run—all starting and finishing at the Anderson Complex at Stoughton High School.

Open to participants of all fitness levels, the event carries on a 52-year tradition of camaraderie and celebration. The Half-Marathon and 5K Runs are timed for those seeking a challenge, while the Half-Marathon Walk and 2-Mile Lil’ Run emphasize fun and participation.

Race registration is managed through Run Signup, and participants must register by April 17 to receive an official race shirt.
