ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 WE ARE HOSTING LAKAD FOR KALUSUGAN TO RAISE $50,000 FOR HEALTH-RELATED PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES IN THE PHILIPPINES THAT WOULD PROVIDE RELIEF AND REHABILITATION TO COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY TYPHOONS, VOLCANO ERUPTIONS, AND OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES IN THE PHILIPPINES VIA THE FOUNDATION FOR PHILIPPINE PROGRESS, AND TO SUPPORT THE FILIPINO BAYANIHAN CENTERS HEALTH PROGRAMS IN PORTLAND, OR. THESE PROGRAMS ARE VITAL AS MIGRANT COMMUNITIES IN OREGON FACE THREATS OF POTENTIAL FEDERAL CUTS TO ACCESS TO HEALTH SERVICES, AND THE NEED TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES GROWS STRONGER.
