Whether you're a seasoned runner or just out for some family fun, there's a course for everyone:

* One-Mile Family Fun Run
* 5K (3.1 miles)
* 10K (6.2 miles)

All races start and finish at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center. Dont wait t-shirts and medals only guaranteed for the first 300 registrants! Your registration supports the centers education and conservation programs.

PARKING & SHUTTLE
Limited parking and several ADA spots available in front of the Interpretive Center.
Overflow parking: Breakwater Business Center - Staff will be on site to guide you to the parking area
(3825 Bay Center Place, Hayward, CA 94545).
Shuttles: Running 610 am between parking area and registration. The Shuttle will be available after the race until 11:00AM. Pickup and drop off will be at the plaza entry on breakwater.
Option: Take a warm-up walk (0.5 mile) to the Center. Stay right on the marsh side to allow shuttle access.

FINDING US
Exit Clawiter/Eden Landing Road off Hwy 92. (Do not miss this exit or you'll go across the bridge)
Go straight at the light, cross Clawiter Road.
Left after the 76 Station -> Follow Breakwater Ave.
Signs will direct you to parking and the Center.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Open at 6:45AM.
Located in front of the Interpretive Center.
Please bring your QR code from the confirmation email to check in.
Pick up: bib and timing chip.
Shirts and medals will be given to the first 300 who registered for the event. Shirts will be picked up at check-in, and the medals will be given after the race. A confirmation email will be sent to the 300 participants receiving the shirt and medal. Please present this email when you check-in and after the race to the registration table.

COURSE INFORMATION
All-weather, packed dirt trail.
Some sections are narrow (4-6ft across).
There is no tree cover, but cool breezes are common across the trail.
Stay on the right side of the course to allow space for trail visitors as it will be open to the public.
For the safety of everyone, strollers will only be allowed for the 1-mile course and must be jogging strollers due to the uneven terrain.
The route will have some changes from last year, due to trail upgrades.

Restrooms:
1 ADA Accessible portable restroom outside the Center
2 restrooms inside the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center
1 restroom at West Winton trailhead
Water & Refreshments:
Bring a refillable bottle
Water jugs available at start, 5K turnaround, and 10K turnaround points.
Post-race refreshments: fruit, granola bars, protein bars.
