Get ready to unleash your inner speedster at the 10th Annual Wicked Fast 5K on Saturday, October 10, 2026! This exciting and family-friendly event will take place at 6 PM along the scenic Richardson Greenway in Troutman, NC. Participants are encouraged to don their best Halloween costumes for a festive atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of the season. The race kicks off at the Downtown Depot, located at 137 S. Main St., with a flat and fast course that stretches along Eastway Dr. to Grannis Lane and back for a total distance of 5K.
Registration is just $30 per participant, and race day registration will start at 4:30 PM, but be sure to register by September 25 to guarantee your official event t-shirt! Enjoy the thrill of the race with glow bracelets for visibility and a water station at the halfway point. Awards will be presented to the Overall Top Male and Female, as well as the top three finishers in each age group. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual jogger, the Wicked Fast 5K is the perfect way to enjoy a night of fun, fitness, and community spirit in Troutman!

Are you WICKED FAST? Join us for this festive, family-friendly 5K on 10/10/26 at 6pm along the Richardson Greenway in Troutman, NC. Wear your best costume and enjoy the fun spirit of Halloween! Race will start at 137 S. Main St. (Downtown Depot- start location). $30 PER PARTICIPANT.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Starts at 4:30pm. Must be registered by 9/25 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, 10/9/26 at Troutman Parks & Rec Office from 12:00-6:00pm or on race day starting at 4:30pm at the Downtown Depot
COURSE INFO: This flat course will begin at the Downtown Depot and run the length of Eastway Dr. and the Richardson Greenway to Grannis Lane, turn around, and come straight back for a 5K distance. All participants will be provided with a glow bracelet for visibility. A water station will be provided at the halfway marker. Restrooms will be provided at the start/finish line.
AWARDS: Overall Top Male & Female; Top 3 Male & Female in each age group (5-year increments starting at age 10)
PARKING: Wagner Street parking lot, Troutman Town Hall, Troutman ESC Park
EVENT POLICIES: The race runs rain or shine. Registration fees are non-refundable; Bib numbers must be worn by the registrant to whom they have been assigned; Race bibs must be clearly visible. On the greenway, please stay to the right at all times.
