Join us for the 12th Annual Ostomy 5K on Sunday, October 4th, 2026, in beautiful Durham, North Carolina! This exciting event will take place at the scenic Solite Park on the American Tobacco Trail, where participants can enjoy a fun run or walk while celebrating Ostomy Awareness Day. Covering a distance of 5 kilometers, the Ostomy 5K is not just a race; it’s a chance to come together as a community, raise awareness, and support the United Ostomy Association of America (UOAA).
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with registration and packet pick-up, followed by a silent auction and race announcements leading up to the start of the race at 10:10 AM. There will also be a Kids Dash at 11:15 AM, and awards will be announced shortly after. By participating, you also have the opportunity to create or join a race team, fostering camaraderie while raising funds for vital resources and support for those living with an ostomy. Don’t miss out on this uplifting day filled with hope, community spirit, and the chance to make a meaningful impact!
