This year, the start and finish lines have moved to the Trailblazer's Family Club at 102 Bills Lane in Wells, offering a fresh perspective on the beautiful back roads you’ve come to love. Don't miss out on this wonderful community event that honors our veterans while promoting health and fitness!

The Wells Chamber of Commerce is hosting our 12th Annual Wells Veterans Day 5k. Proceeds will once again benefit HONOR FLIGHT MAINE [http://www.honorflightmaine.org].
Run (or walk) your own 5k (3.1 miles) on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The cost to enter is $20 (adults 18+), $15 (students 11-17) and kids (10 and under) are free (RunSignUp fees are extra). As in past years, the first 100 paying registrants will receive a men's long-sleeve t-shirt.
The details on the original race route are posted below (under directions). The start and finish are NEW THIS YEAR! The new location is the TRAILBLAZER'S FAMILY CLUB located at 102 BILLS LANE in Wells ... you have been running past it for the last 11 years. Unfortunately, the Wells Elks Lodge has disbanded. The 5K loop still takes you through beautiful, remote back roads of Wells. The course is considered flat, which is great for those either looking to set a new PR and/or for first-time 5K'ers.

Start time of the event is 10:00 am for both runners and walkers. The course will start and finish at the Trailblazers Family Club. Parking is available onsite. Snacks and refreshments will be available. Knowing this event is taking place in the later part of fall here in Maine, warmer apparel is recommended.
