Join us for the 13th Annual KC 5K Run/Walk for Food Pantries on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the charming town of Cass City, Tuscola! This exciting event features a timed 5K race on a scenic course that includes pavement, gravel, and foot paths, with part of the journey taking you over the picturesque Cass River on a rail trail. For those looking for a shorter challenge, we also offer a one-mile exercise walk that stays within the town limits. Participants will have the chance to win special awards for the overall best female and male runners/walkers, along with medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in their respective age groups. Not only will you enjoy a fun day of fitness and community, but you'll also be supporting a great cause, as proceeds will benefit the Our Lady Consolata Parish Food Pantry at St. Agatha's in Gagetown and Revive Ministries Food Pantry in Cass City. TIMED TOWN AND COUNTRY 5K COURSE ON PAVEMENT, GRAVEL, AND FOOT PATHS. PART OF THE COURSE WILL BE ON A RAIL TRAIL OVER THE CASS RIVER. WE ALSO OFFER A ONE-MILE EXERCISE WALK ON PAVEMENT THAT STAYS IN TOWN. OVERALL BEST FEMALE AND MALE RUNNERS/WALKERS WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL AWARD. 1ST, 2ND, 3RD PLACE RUNNERS/WALKERS IN THEIR AGE GROUP WILL RECEIVE MEDALS. PROCEEDS, AFTER EXPENSES, WILL BENEFIT OUR LADY CONSOLATA PARISH FOOD PANTRY AT ST. AGATHA'S IN GAGETOWN, MI. AND REVIVE MINISTRIES FOOD PANTRY IN CASS CITY, MI. THIS EVENT IS PUT ON BY THE CENTRAL THUMB K OF C # 8892 AND USE THE FACILITIES OF OUR LADY CONSOLATA PARISH IN CASS CITY, MI.

Same day registration and packet pickup will begin at 7:45 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. the date of race inside the church social hall or parking lot depending on the weather. Race day registration will cost $25.00 without tee shirt guarantee. Awards to overall men's and women's fastest time. Medals to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each man and women age group. Please tell us your t shirt size when you register online. S, M, L, XL, XXL. Tee shirts and sizes guaranteed with sign up by 8/30/2023. Please tell us if you are a 5K runner or walker if you register online.
