Get ready for an exciting day of athleticism and fun at the 19th Annual York YMCA Kids Triathlon on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in York! This vibrant event invites youth aged 7 to 14 to take on the thrilling challenges of swimming, biking, and running in a supportive and energetic environment. Participants will compete in varied race distances tailored to their age groups, including a 25-meter swim for 7-8 year-olds, a 100-meter swim for ages 11-12, and a 150-meter swim for the 13-14 category, ensuring every young athlete can shine.
The race kicks off with the first wave at 10:00 a.m. for ages 7-10, followed by a second wave at 11:15 a.m. for ages 11-14. To help participants prepare, there will be free clinics leading up to the event, including a Swim Clinic on May 14 and a Transition Clinic on May 15. Remember, safety is a priority, so all bike riders must wear approved helmets and appropriate footwear for the bike and run segments.
