1st Annual Trumbull County, OH Ostomy 5k

Join us for the 1ST ANNUAL TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH RUN FOR RESILIENCE OSTOMY 5K FUN RUN AND WALK on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in celebration of Ostomy Awareness Day. All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible (https://www.ostomy.org).



_INSIDE EVENT!_

This event will be held at the Niles Park & Wellness Center [https://thecityofniles.com/residents/parks/wellness-center/] in Niles, Ohio. This indoor facility features a 4-lane track and turf area to celebrate rain or shine! This is a family friendly event.



_RACE DAY SCHEDULE_

8:00 AM Set Up Starts
9:00 AM Registration and Packet pick-up opens, raffle begins, sponsor tables available - Light refreshments & games for kids TBD
10:15 AM 5K Runners Line-up and Start
10:45 AM or when runner's finish, Walkers Line-up and Start
12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Prayer, Awards, Mayors Comments, Raffle Winners, refreshments/social time

The Registration Fee of $29.00 includes a unisex adult or youth size T-Shirt and Bib. Please note there are a limited number of T-Shirt sizes now available. So don't delay, register today to order the T-Shirt size you'd like to wear at the event.

Once youve registered you have the option to CREATE A NEW RACE GROUP/TEAM OR TO JOIN one thats already been established. THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO GET OTHERS IN YOUR COMMUNITY TO REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RUN and compete against each other. Invite family, friends, co-workers to Register, pick to be on your Race Group/Team (or start their own), order their T-Shirt & Bib and celebrate the day with you! Fundraising is an important aspect of our Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K. Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.

We invite you to set up your own PERSONAL OR TEAM FUNDRAISER when registering to participate in the event, or through our DONATE BUTTON at the top of this page. You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address, personalize your fundraising message, and direct your friends and family to your page to join your team or sponsor you in your fundraising goal.
