This exciting in-person event will run from 9 AM to 12 PM, dedicated to raising awareness about veteran suicide—a critical issue that affects an estimated 22 veterans each day. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in numerous challenges, including a brand-new obstacle course designed to test physical, social, and emotional skills.
Everyone is encouraged to participate individually or form teams to tackle the challenges together, all while fostering a sense of community and support. Each participant will receive a commemorative 2.2 for 22 t-shirt and a finisher medal to celebrate their efforts. Don't forget to capture the moments and share your experience using the hashtag #Challenge22forVeterans. Enjoy food from local food trucks and join us in making a difference while having fun! THE 2025 2.2 FOR 22 CHALLENGE
THIS EVENT IS AN "IN PERSON" EVENT TO BE HELD AT THE LAS POSITAS COLLEGE ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2025 AT THE LPC TRACK AND FIELD FROM 9 AM TO 12 PM.
THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE 2.2 FOR 22 CHALLENGE FOR VETERANS EXPO IS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT VETERAN SUICIDE AND TO HELP PREVENT ITHIGHLIGHTING THE TRAGIC REALITY THAT AN ESTIMATED 22 VETERANS TAKE THEIR OWN LIVES EACH DAY.
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A 2.2 FOR 22 T-SHIRT AND A COMMEMORATIVE FINISHER MEDAL. EVENT ORGANIZERS STRONGLY ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO COMPLETE AS MANY CHALLENGES AS THEY CAN OR EVEN ATTEMPT ALL OF THEM. PARTICIPANTS ARE ALSO WELCOME TO JOIN OR CREATE TEAMS TO ENJOY THE EVENT TOGETHER.
