Organiser's Description
Join us for our 2nd annual 22q11.2 deletion syndrome awareness walk!Last year we had 138 participants and raised $3,863!We were blown away with the turnout and are BEYOND excited for this years event!
The my22qt mission: raise awareness, educate, help other diagnosed families cope, and pay it forward to the genetics division of Akron Children’s Hospital for expansion in research services
The walk will take place on Sunday, July 28th, 2024.
Please meet with everyone at the Jackson North Park pavilion.
Registration begins at 9:30 am and the walk will start at 10 am.
The track at the park is 1.1 miles. We will be going around twice for our total 2.2.Please do not feel obligated to walk the entire route if you are unable.
This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE!
Join us after for a provided lunch raffle giveaways! Raffle tickets can be earned by making a donation to Akron Childrens Hospital. *Donations are accepted through this site or by cash, check, Venmo at the walk.*
