Organiser's Description
Once again the _RACES_ must go on ... the tail water from the spill way is still shut down for maintenance on the Dam. Therefore, the races will be at the West Fork of the Whitewater River. Though the races might look different, they will still be just as much fun!
The RECREATION RACE will launch northwest of the town of Brookville at Eagle Beach and participants will proceed down the Whitewater River to Morgan's Canoe & Livery (3 miles).
The BIATHLON AND CHAMPIONSHIP RACES will launch from Morgan's Canoe & Livery and end at Cedar Grove.
All donations received will be distributed to local 501.c.3 charities in Franklin County!

Biathlon Canoe & Run (Solo) .... Canoes Will Be Provided.

The Biathlon is a race that combines an 6.6 mile Canoe Race and a 7.2 mile run. Racers will start at the Morgan's Canoe & Livery. Racers will canoe the West Fork of the Whitewater River until the end of the canoe segment at Morgan's Canoe Rental in Cedar Grove. After docking the canoes, the foot race begins. When leaving Morgan's, the racers will continue south on S.R. 1 to River Road. Traveling north along River Road, there will be drink stations along with some beautiful countryside. The finish line is located at Morgans Canoe & Livery in Brookville ending up to be 15.8 miles in total length. Transportation will be available after the race. -

The Championship Canoe Race is 6.6 miles in length. The trip entails beautiful scenery on the entire length of the course with some Class 2 and Class 1 rapids. The race starts at Morgan's Canoe & Livery. The race will run the West Fork of the Whitewater River continuing along the Whitewater until the finish line at Morgans Canoe Rental in Cedar Grove. A shuttle will be available after the race. -
