This exciting event kicks off at 8:30 AM, with race day registration and packet pick-up beginning at 7:30 AM. Participants can choose to take part in the 5K run/walk, designed for ages 13 and up, or the fun-filled 1-mile Kids Obstacle Run for younger enthusiasts.
This vibrant community event not only promotes fitness and family fun but also raises critical awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and support. With activities like Zumba, raffles, a bouncing house, face painting, crafts, and delicious food from local restaurants, there’s something for everyone! WHEN YOU RUN/WALK WITH US, YOU WILL BE CREATING AWARENESS AND GIVING HOPE TO THE 47 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES THAT ARE DIAGNOSED EVERY DAY.
JOEY'S WINGS FOUNDATION, A 501C3 NON-PROFIT CHARITY, WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2014 IN THE MEMORY OF JOEY, A 10-YEAR-OLD BOY WHO LOVED TO RUN, BUT WAS TAKEN FROM US BY CHILDHOOD CANCER ON NOV. 26, 2014. 100% OF ALL DONATIONS MADE WILL BE USED TOWARDS RESEARCH AND TREATMENT OPTIONS, PARENT SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY. THIS YEAR, PROCEEDS WILL GO TO LOCAL PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES.
