Runners will kick off this fantastic race at 9 AM, following a morning packet pickup from 7:45 to 8:45 AM, or the day before from noon to 3:30 PM at the Delaware Running Company store in Greenville. The event promises not only an exhilarating race experience but also a vibrant post-race celebration featuring delicious refreshments and an energetic after-party. With a total prize purse of $1,100 and awards for 10-year age groups, the Delaware Distance Classic 15K is an event you don’t want to miss!

42nd Annual 15K Road Race held on the Wilmington, DE Riverfront. A USATF 15k Championship and Grand Prix Event. Certified, Fast and Mostly Flat! PRIZE MONEY. 15K race features a total of $1100 in prize money and 10 year age groups for awards. 15K USATF Course Certification # DE19005LMB
DDC 5K Run/Walk has been cancelled.
Due to construction in the area, there is limited space and the Riverfront is restricting the size of events. Those already registered will be offered full refund. We will try to find a way to hold a 5K in 2026.
