Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in style at the 2025 GCR Firecracker 5K on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in beautiful Naples, Collier! This exciting event invites runners, run/walkers, and walkers of all ages to enjoy a scenic double loop course through Lake Park, with the race kicking off at 7 AM. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for some fun, this race is perfect for everyone, including students aged 21 and under who can participate for just $20 before race day.
Participants can pick up their race packets on Thursday, July 3rd, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Naples on the Run, or on the morning of the race starting at 5:30 AM in Fleischmann Park. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal, and there will be age group awards given five deep! Don’t miss the special Kids Race at 6:45 AM, which features a fun 1/2 mile loop, as well as the GCR Freedom Swim at 10:30 AM at Lowdermilk Park. Join in the fun, support a great cause with proceeds benefiting the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development

Celebrate the 4th of July by running, run/walking, or walking the Firecracker 5K! It is a double loop course through Lake Park. The race starts at 7 am.
ENTRY FEE
$35 through July 3, $40 race day; $20 for students (21 and under) through July 3, $25 race day.
Packet Pick up Thursday July 3, from 10am-4pm at Naples on the Run
Day of Packet Pick up starts at 5:30 am on Friday, July 4 in Fleischmann Park
Race Start is by the water treatment plant on 10th St. N (see course map below)
Includes a T-shirt at packet pick-up and a finisher medal after!

Kids race will take place at 6:45am (Gather at the FINISH LINE at 6:40am. This is a 1/2 mile loop that starts and ends at our 5k finish line balloon.)
